This event will discuss Ireland’s perspective on the EU ahead of its upcoming Presidency of the Council. Ireland's Minister of State for European Affairs and Defence, Thomas Byrne, will present his views on the key issues facing the Union ahead of the Irish Presidency, which will run from 1 July to 31 December 2026. After his presentation, the Minister will engage in an open conversation with Guntram Wolff and the audience.
