Conference Description

Objective

On 12 September 2025, the EU Data Act will become applicable, introducing a new regulatory landscape for data sharing and access across Europe.

By 12 September 2025, the European Commission is expected to publish recommended non-binding model contractual terms (MCTs) for data access and use, as well as standard contractual clauses (SCCs) for cloud computing contracts.

This online conference, which coincides with the coming into effect of the Data Act, will analyse the proposed MCTs and SCCs and provide practical insights into the ongoing legal challenges and questions that practitioners face under the new regime.
