We provide a variety of communications services to our clients, ranging from one-off publications, presentations and videos, to fully-fledged campaigns incorporating cross-media promotion and social media strategies.
Our communications cover a wide range of topical areas including employment and social affairs, education and training, civil society, justice and consumer policies, home affairs, innovation and technology, entrepreneurship and SMEs, media, culture, sports, youth and EU affairs.
The senior communication consultant will work within the Brussels Communications team in partnership with other Ecorys colleagues, partner organisations, experts, subcontractors and associates, across Europe and beyond to:
The post does not constitute a budget holder. The post holder will be responsible for the effective use of financial and other resources in respect of dedicated projects that s/he is involved in, including the delivery of these to agreed budgets. The post holder will be expected to deliver fee income of € 80k and win €150k of new work per annum.
The post holder will be expected to contribute to business planning. The post holder will also be expected to raise the company's expertise and profile in respect of its markets at European and international levels.
The position is based in Brussels, and is to work as part of the Business Development and Communications team within the wider Programme Management and Communications team (PMC) of Ecorys. Key tasks and responsibilities include:
The post holder reports to the Market Development Director, in the Business Development and Communications Team. S/he is responsible for the co-ordination and management of staff inputs to project delivery where he or she is taking a managerial role, as well as to work acquisition and business development. The post holder liaises with other consultants/senior consultants/associate directors/directors across the company in respect of activity at this level.
Salary dependent on experience and expertise.
The post holder will be entitled to 25 days of paid annual leave in addition to bank holiday. The post holder will be expected to travel and work outside normal office hours, including nights away from home.
This is a full time post and based in our Brussels office.
