The Program Development Manager will play a key role in partner relations, strategic business development and proposal design and development for conflict transformation programming in all three countries in the Central and Southern Africa region (Madagascar, Central African Republic and Democratic Republic of Congo).
S/he will manage fundraising efforts and developing partnerships and relationships with key stakeholders working on conflict transformation in these countries, ensuring that high quality and innovative concept notes and proposals are developed and marketed, in line with country and global strategies. S/he will also maintain external communications with donors and partners and liaise internally with Global Affairs and Partnerships and Communications to enhance the visibility of the region and represent regional business development interests relevant forums.
The Program Development Manager will be a key member of the Central and Southern Africa Regional Team. S/he will be supervised by the Regional Director, and will work in close collaboration with the Regional Program Manager, Regional Program Associate, HQ Finance, Institutional Learning team and country teams.
