ICC’s Knowledge Solutions Department is responsible for the organization’s full suite of policy, standard setting and advocacy activities, with a strong focus on trade and investment. This includes: providing substantive policy input into key international processes; developing industry rules and guidelines to facilitate international trade and promote responsible business practices; and providing influential thought leadership on major global trade issues.
ICC’s policy positions are developed through consultation with member companies and associations in over 100 countries – including through 12 specialist groups of policy experts and a number of special projects.
The Deputy Director Innovation for All will spearhead the development and execution of ICC’s policy/advocacy function related to Internet governance and intellectual property with a particular focus on ensuring the production and deployment of influential policy content related to supporting an inclusive and multistakeholder model for Internet governance.
ICC seeks a candidate with significant public affairs/policy experience and a proven ability to research, write and persuade with respect to issues on Internet governance and digital economy.
Management of the ICC’s Policy work related to Internet governance and digital economy and supervision the work related to intellectual property. As part of the Innovation for All Team within the Knowledge Solutions Department, proactively manage and drive ICC’s work on supporting a multistakeholder Internet governance model, in particular via the development of high-quality and influential content and products.
Location: The position is located in Paris, France. International travel required.
Compensation: The remuneration package will be set at a level to be attractive to the most qualified candidate.
