EU specialist Fin Tech and payments law firm FM Legal is looking for a qualified lawyer to help build its Brussels presence, and to assist in providing representation for the Electronic Money Association (EMA) in Brussels. The successful candidate will join an international team of EU experts in financial services, payments, crypto assets, technology, e-money legislation, AML and financial crime working on behalf of global Fin Tech, payments and technology clients to advise on regulatory change and influence the development of EU policy in these areas.
The EU Law and Policy Advisor will monitor and analyse EU legislative developments of relevance to clients, pro-actively build and grow a network of institutional and client contacts. The successful candidate will monitor developments, and draft internal and client-facing briefings, updates and advice, engage with institutions as well as leading the firm’s policy work in Brussels.
The position can commence immediately, but suitable candidates’ timeframes can also be accommodated.
