The successful candidate will represent SPARK at EU institutions promoting our work and liaising with EU institutions, notably the EU commission, permanent representative missions to the EU, the European parliament as well as opinion leaders and think thanks. He/she will be responsible for identifying public funding streams (mainly European funding), and assist with writing and submitting proposals. The staff member will also be responsible for promoting the aims of our organisation and assist in the dissemination of lessons learned from SPARK programmes and ensuring policy implications of SPARK programming are discussed with the relevant Brussels based stakeholders. The above will lead to increasing SPARK visibility among development organisations in Brussels.
The staff member will work as part of the SPARK Design & Acquisition team and will report to the Head of Acquisition.
