We are looking for a dynamic marketing professional to help further strengthen our market positioning and offering to clients through a mix of targeted business development, marketing and communication initiatives, in Belgium and internationally. As a (Senior) Business Development & Marketing Advisor, you are at the heart of our firm’s strategy.

  • You will play a leading role in developing and implementing marketing and communication plans to support profile-raising and profitable revenue growth for chosen markets and clients of selected practices in our office;
  • You will work closely with Partners and lawyers with the firm, proactively providing support in relation to client relationship management (e.g. relationship review, client teams, action plans) and for pitching;
  • You will collaborate closely with marketing colleagues from across our international network, and work on initiating and implementing global marketing projects locally, including follow-up and reporting;
  • You will share information with key stakeholders and promote the firm’s expertise with other colleagues in Belgium and internationally to enable cross-selling;
  • You will assist our lawyers in developing their personal brand (both internally and externally) and contribute to our branding as a top international law firm.

This is the person we are looking for

  • You have a passion for providing outstanding client service;
  • You are either a lawyer with an interest in Marketing and Business Development or a professional with at least three years of experience in business development, marketing, account management and/or pitching in a professional services environment;
  • You have excellent business acumen, with a focus on global accounts and ability to spot new business opportunities. Keen interest in the legal sector, as well as legal market developments (legal tech, innovation) are an asset;
  • You are proactive, keen to rapidly gain a good understanding of our services and build your credibility with senior stakeholders;
  • You are a team player and networker, able to build outstanding working relationships with internal and external stakeholders;
  • You have strong communication and drafting skills as well as a sense of diplomacy;
  • You can drive projects successfully with attention to detail;
  • You have high levels of curiosity, energy, assertiveness, determination and resilience;
  • You have a thorough knowledge of English. French and/or Dutch are an asset.
