Eight leading European research universities have come together to create a unique alliance - Una Europa. The Una Europa partners are Universita de Bologna, Freie Universität Berlin, University of Edinburgh, University of Helsinki, Uniwersytet Jagiellonski w Krakowie, KU Leuven, Universidad Complutense de Madrid and Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. Una Europa draws on the collective strengths of the universities to develop a truly European inter-university environment, a university of the Future.
The roll-out of the 'European Universities' initiative will be supported under the Erasmus+ Programme, with the associated call for proposals due to be launched in late 2021 and expected deadline of Spring 2022. Successful proposals will receive up to EUR 21.6 million for a period of six years for alliances to build upon their pilots through the further development of a future-looking European inter-university campus, contributing to the objectives of the European Education Area (EEA) and achieving impact on the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) as a whole.
We are now seeking a full time Policy Advisor to coordinate the writing of the Una Europa proposal for the roll-out of the European Universities initiative. Subsequently, she or he will take up responsibilities within the Una Europa coordination team of KU Leuven.
We offer a full time employment for a period of 1 year, with possible extension for an indefinite period on the condition of a positive evaluation after one year. Salary grade 7or 8 are appointed to this position depending on your experience and competencies. Grade 9 is exceptionally reserved for candidates who due to extensive knowledge and experience, can take on additional responsibilities from the start.
