‎Are you a highly motivated Communications professional?‎

At Kellen Brussels, we are looking for a new colleague to support our client teams operating in various ‎sectors. ‎

Your main roles will be to:‎

  • ‎Help shape and execute external communication strategies and plans in line with association ‎business objectives;
  • ‎Manage and lead Communication Committee meetings for association clients;
  • ‎Support the development and execution of Kellen’s internal and external communications.

In order to achieve this, you will:‎

  • ‎Support association leaders in shaping long-term communication strategies and plans;
  • ‎Draft and execute annual communications plans, covering Paid, Earned, Shared and Owned ‎channels and ensuring a 360° consistency with a focus on:‎
    • Social media outreach: content planning, promotion and reporting;
    • Website: content planning, regular updates and analytics‎;
    • Copywriting and media relations: press releases for trade media, newsletters and press ‎articles for specialised media, as well as managing media relations;
    • Event and meeting organisation, both on- and off-line.
  • ‎Produce and update association assets: visual identity and branding, brochures, presentations, ‎photo and video libraries, infographics, etc.;
  • ‎Advise association teams on the communication aspects of projects and participate in strategic ‎reviews on promotion and communications.

What we are looking for:‎

Must haves ‎

  • ‎Bachelor in Communications;
  • ‎3-4 years’ experience in communications and PR, including messaging and branding;
  • ‎Digital savviness: ‎
    • Some knowledge of photo/video editing and graphic design;
    • Expertise in social media and content management systems.
  • ‎Outstanding analytical/research skills and proven accuracy;
  • ‎Very good English writing, communication and presentational skills;
  • ‎Strategic, creative, resourceful, adaptable and independent;
  • ‎Problem-solving skills - ability to work on different accounts;
  • ‎Flexibility - ability to work under pressure;
  • ‎Be a proactive team player.

Nice to haves ‎

  • Experience with Associations and/or EU affairs;
  • ‎Knowledge of the EU institutions;
  • ‎Understanding of EU legislation and regulations;
  • ‎Affinity with one of the following industries: Food, Energy, Construction, Environment‎.
