BIPAR, the European Federation of Insurance Intermediaries, is currently looking for a “Legal Advisor European Affairs” (M/F).

Function:

The “Legal Adviser European Affairs” will be part of a small team. He/she will be responsible for monitoring and analysing EU regulatory and policy developments. He/she will support the development of position papers, ensure effective cooperation and coordination with different stakeholders, develop working relationships with the EU institutions and manage working parties and committees on a variety of subjects.

Profile:

  • Minimum two years of experience in (EU) legal affairs or equivalent;
  • University level legal education, preferably with special focus on European law;
  • Good organisational and communication skills;
  • Excellent drafting skills in English, excellent verbal communication skills in English (+ 2 additional European languages);
  • Experience with use of social media and other communication channels;
  • Experience in the financial/insurance service sector would be a plus.
