CLEPA represents the 3.000 companies supplying state-of-the-art components and innovative technologies needed to build motor vehicles. Our industry invests 30 billion euro annually in research and development and represents 5 million employees accounting for over 600 billion euro.
Based in our offices in Brussels, CLEPA is looking to hire a junior officer with an engineering or science background. The new colleague will help to drive key regulatory developments in the automotive sector, facilitate member working groups in reaching shared positions, support delivering on specific projects and help prepare international meetings with technical experts and external stakeholders.
The activities will focus on a range of advanced mobility solutions and vehicle technologies including, for example, low-emission propulsion systems (e.g. advanced emissions control, electric & fuel-cell vehicles, hydrogen and synthetic fuels), decarbonisation and life-cycle assessment for road transport vehicles and their constituent systems and components.
For this highly interesting and varied role, we seek an individual with a willingness to develop quickly in a fast-paced environment, affinity with automotive technology solutions and an interest in regulatory affairs in an international setting.
Prior working experience leading to an understanding of the principles for system type approval or technical product certification or standardisation, and of European legislative processes, is considered an asset.
Typically candidates would be expected to have a genuine interest in road transport and mobility, particularly in terms of reducing its environmental impact while improving safety.
CLEPA offers a multi-cultural work environment and applies a policy of equal opportunities and non-discrimination.
