The American Academy in Berlin fosters greater understanding and dialogue between the United States and Germany. Our Berlin office is looking for a Senior Manager, Development (Fundraising) (m/f/d) full-time with 40 hours per week starting as soon as possible.
This senior position will work closely with the Vice President of Development, based in New York, to contribute to and drive the organization’s fundraising strategy across both counties. The Senior Manager, Development (Fundraising) provides vital cross-cutting support to and oversight of the work of the Academy’s Development team to strengthen fund soliciting efforts and operational fundraising processes. The position leads a team of two staff members.
The position is initially limited to two years, with the prospect of an unlimited contract. Salary is commensurate with experience and educational background.
