The Aerospace, Security and Defense Industries Association of Europe is currently looking for a proactive and experienced Environment Manager to join its international and dynamic team in Brussels. The role of the environment manager is to steer the ASD work in the field of EU and international environment legislation and initiatives, including assessing the impact on the sector. Knowledge of key environmental issues and understanding the functioning of the EU institutions will be highly valued. Starting date: as soon as possible.
ASD is the voice of European Aerospace, Security and Defence Industries, representing directly or indirectly (through our national association members) over 3,000 companies of all sizes from 18 European countries with 879,000 employees. ASD develops and advocates for common industry positions, with the objective to promote the competitiveness of the sector in times of fast technological and societal changes. The European Aerospace, Security and Defence Industries are a key enabler of a sustainable, technologically sovereign and resilient Europe. The environment department of ASD strives to ensure sustainability of the aerospace and defence sector by reducing its environmental footprint.
