Salary: €67,548 to €78,504 tax-free + Benefits
Contract: Four year fixed-term contract with possibility of renewal

Every transaction you process could change lives across Europe.

Do you have a degree-level qualification in finance, banking, market operations management or a related discipline? Are you experienced in financial roles, preferably within an audit or consultancy firm, middle office or back office? Then you can play a central part in our Settlements, Payments & Collateral Division as you ensure that transactions are processed efficiently, accurately and swiftly.

Bringing together 43 member countries, the CEB finances and responds to emergency situations and actively enhances the living conditions of the most disadvantaged groups. Strengthening social cohesion and building thriving communities in Europe, we drive inclusive growth, bolster economic sustainability – and create exceptional careers.

Enjoying different challenges every day, you will confirm instructions, validate transactions and execute post-trade operations, including detailed investigation of any anomalies or discrepancies. At the same time, you will administer collateral for swaps (including margin calls, substitution of securities and contract management using triResolve) and reconcile portfolios with depositories whilst taking ownership of internal and external queries. Above all, you will proactively enhance the full transaction processing cycle by optimising procedures and practices, so you should possess a wealth of fresh ideas as well as exceptional attention to detail.

To join us, you should bring:

  • Deep knowledge of financial products from a back office and accounting standpoint;
  • Full familiarity with MM and FX treasury products, loans, interest rate and currency swaps, long-time issues and ECPs from an accounting perspective;
  • Exposure to cash and securities payment and clearing systems;
  • Awareness of ISDA/CSA framework contracts;
  • Skill with office automation tools, including Microsoft Word and Excel, VBA, databases and financial management packages;
  • Proven ability to balance a conflicting workload against inflexible deadlines;
  • Excellent command of one of the two CEB official languages (English and French), both oral and written, and good knowledge of the other;
  • Experience of implementing processes and projects would be useful, alongside exposure to the bond market and Bloomberg.
