Drive service delivery and sustainability for a unique development bank.

Are you experienced in facility management, hospitality management or business administration? Have you coordinated projects or conducted studies related to facilities and work environment, with the capacity to draft notes to the management? Do you have exceptional planning, organisational and multitasking skills, enabling you to operate effectively in a constantly changing environment? Then you can play a leading role within a unique pan-European institution as you co-ordinate studies, manage administrative and operational activities, and drive the delivery of key projects.

Bringing together 43 member countries, the CEB finances and responds to emergency situations and actively enhances the living conditions of the most disadvantaged groups. Strengthening social cohesion and building thriving communities in Europe, we drive inclusive growth, bolster economic sustainability – and create exceptional careers.

Every day will offer different challenges as you contribute to budgets and forecasts, creating documentation for internal audits and overseeing the delivery of annual accounts. At the same time, you will be involved in the purchasing process, and leading a variety of projects and studies, including detailed analysis of our workplaces and ESG indicators. At all times we will look to you to enhance service delivery and sustainability for our Facility & Travel Management Division, requiring proven ability to make clear and considered recommendations and get the most from colleagues and suppliers alike.

To join us, you should bring:

  • A degree or business school diploma or equivalent qualification in facility management, hospitality management or a similar discipline;
  • An excellent command of IT and digital tools, particularly the Microsoft Office suite and document management programs;
  • Demonstrable flair for quickly assimilating new processes and procedures;
  • A high level of initiative, motivation and drive;
  • An extremely discreet and confidential approach to everything you do;
  • A good command of both English and French;
  • Finally, high level administrative experience in an international organisation or financial institution would be very useful, as would some knowledge of an ERP system.

Applications should be made in English or French using the Council of Europe Development Bank online application system before the deadline of 27 October 2024, midnight Paris time. Please mention the job board when applying.
