JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a Partnerships Team Intern to join our EIT Food Region West team, providing support for the day-to-day activities of the Partnership team. The position will be a 6-month internship based in an EIT Food legal entity in either Germany or the UK. The intern will be part of the partnership team in Region West, reporting to an EIT Food Ecosystem Manager and will provide support for various business functions, including pre-screening leads for partnering with EIT Food and managing the Region West mailbox.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Pre-screening leads that are interested in partnering with EIT Food by relevance for the partnership team to follow up accordingly. This will include organising introductory meetings with leads to introduce them to EIT Food and our partnership options;
- Provide administrative support for the onboarding of new partners and community members in Region West. This will include data support in our customer relationship management tool SalesForce;
- Managing the Region West email inbox to answer queries and re-direct to other colleagues where necessary;
- Mapping community members and partners in Region West to understand EIT Food’s representation across the food supply chain and wider food system;
- Dissemination of community members survey to new members to capture their interests and capabilities. This will include analysing the data and sharing recommendations with the team;
- Assisting in the management of partnership team projects and coordination in the region;
- Supporting the Partnership team in preparation of external presentations or online or offline meetings.
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
- Pursuing or having a Degree in Business Management, Life Sciences or Sustainability;
- Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to drive decisions;
- Proficiency in data entry and handling, such as using customer relationship management tools;
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal;
- Report writing and presentation skills;
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and ability to prioritise tasks;
- Fluent in English.
