
Communications and Operations Intern

A small, dynamic team based in Brussels working internationally is seeking a versatile and adaptable support person for a variety of projects. This role combines communication tasks, basic marketing support, and related administrative work to ensure the smooth execution of our diverse projects. This is a hands-on, that values creativity, curiosity, and a willingness to learn and adapt together.
The ideal candidate enjoys working closely with others (in-person and remotely), is excited to explore new tools, and is comfortable taking on a range of tasks in a flexible and supportive setting. Previous experience is not required but a good understanding of modern digital tools and a proactive, positive attitude are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Writing and preparing presentations, flyers, and other visual work such as communication materials with a sense of aesthetics, including basic graphic design and layout for presentations;
- Researching and implementing new digital tools and processes to improve workflows;
- Supporting projects across different fields, from philanthropic and NGO initiatives to business administration and new neurotechnology projects;
- Bringing creativity to concepts and enjoying creating inviting atmospheres for group activities and gatherings with care and attention;
- Assisting with organizing travel, managing calendars, and day-to-day administration.
Profile:
- Proficient in both French and English, spoken and written;
- Comfortable using Mac and Windows systems;
- Experienced with modern digital tools, such as:
- Canva and PowerPoint for creating leaflets, presentations, and visual materials;
- Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms) for collaborative work and document management;
- Slack and Microsoft Teams for team communication and coordination.
- Resourceful and proactive in exploring and integrating new tools to streamline workflows;
- Organized, adaptable, and eager to contribute to a small, supportive team;
- Holds a valid driving license and is willing to work in Lasne when needed (a car can be provided for work travel);
- Creativity, attention to detail, and an interest in NGOs, philanthropy, neuroscience, mental health, personal development, and art are highly valued.
Practical Details:
- Full-time position starting as soon as possible for a minimum of 6 months up to a year. Possibility to grow internally. Paid.
