Are you passionate about copywriting and multimedia storytelling? Do you want to use your skills to make a difference in the NGO sector and advocate for victims’ rights? VSE is looking for a full-time Communications Intern to join our team for six months, starting February 15, 2026.

Join VSE as a Communications Intern and gain hands-on experience in content creation, campaign strategies, and event management in a dynamic international environment. You’ll have the opportunity to explore both written and visual aspects of communications using various multimedia tools. Key Responsibilities

Social Media & Content Creation

  • Develop engaging content for LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.
  • Craft compelling short-form copy with a focus on storytelling and engagement.
  • Assist in planning, executing, and analyzing social media campaigns to optimize performance.
  • Track and report social media engagement metrics to refine content strategies.
  • Stay updated on trends in digital marketing, AI, multimedia storytelling.

Design & Visual Content

  • Create eye-catching graphics, infographics, and visuals using Canva.
  • Assist with basic video editing and post-production for social media, training materials, and other communication needs.

Event Management

  • Support the planning and execution of VSE events, including annual conferences, webinars, and workshops.

Knowledge & Platform Management

  • Maintain and update databases, media lists, and website content (WordPress).
  • Upload and manage online learning materials on the VSE Hub e-learning platform.
  • Provide backend support to member organizations using the e-learning platform.

Training-Related Tasks

  • Maintain and upload online learning modules, courses, webinars, and other content onto the VSE Hub e-learning platform.
  • Provide back-office support to member organizations using the platform to host their trainings.

What We’re Looking For

  • Education: A degree in communications, journalism, marketing, graphic design, or media studies.
  • Digital Skills: Familiarity with social media platforms and basic content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Photoshop, InDesign).
  • Copywriting: Ability to write concise, and creative content.
  • Design & Video Editing: Basic skills in Canva, Photoshop, or Illustrator. Willingness to learn under supervision.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in English (spoken and written); another EU language is a plus.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy, consistency, and quality.
  • Team Player: Ability to collaborate in a multicultural, multilingual, and multidisciplinary team.
