IMPALA, the European association of independent music companies, is looking for a MEMBERSHIP AND PROJECT CO-ORDINATOR to help co-ordinate its Brussels-based team on membership, administration and finance work as well as our relevant projects such as Friends of IMPALA programme, equity, diversity inclusion work, EU projects, etc.
99% of Europe’s music companies are SMEs. Known as the “independents”, they are world leaders in terms of innovation and discovering new music and artists - they produce more than 80% of all new releases and account for 80% of the sector's jobs. IMPALA’s work covers a wide range of issues and projects, including our own award schemes.
This is a key role in the organisation, a great opportunity for candidates who love organising and working across a range of issues. We are looking for a go-getting problem solver who relishes being at the heart of an association that is fast moving and multi-tasking in the cultural sector.
Start date: 1st of June 2023
Full time and permanent role, starting with a one-year contract, based in Brussels, Belgium (our offices are close to the EC district and the city centre, easily accessible by public transport).
