Join our Communications & External Affairs Europe Team and advance your career as a Regulatory & Public Policy Manager (home based).

The role purpose is to work to promote and protect bp's reputation in Poland, identify and capture business value, and mitigate non-technical risks via strong stakeholder relationships and integrated communications and external affairs plans through managing all government and political affairs, social performance, and regulatory advocacy activity for bp in Poland. The job holder will lead engagement with employees and society, communicate bp's purpose, ambition and aims, campaigning for climate neutrality and actively advocate for well-designed climate policies.

In this role You will:

• work closely with the Head of Country and the Line Manager to deliver regional agenda and build value for bp businesses in Poland through effective engagement with government officials, key political contacts, media, trade associations, employees and other organizations;
• support the Line Manager and as well as the Head of Communications, planning and operations C&EA Europe, to develop an annual plan covering all external affairs activities in Poland - prioritize activities in support of strategic country/business plan implementation and ensure effective delivery through appropriate levels of resource and capability;
• support Head of Country, and other local key business leaders, to ensure a consistent and integrated face of bp internally and externally;
• build capability across all areas of advocacy.

What You will need to be successful:

• Educated/Degree level in law, economy or European studies (or other relevant university programs);
• Native or close to native Polish language knowledge is a MUST;
• High level of spoken and written English;
• 5+ years professional experience in advocacy, legal or public affairs (or similar);
• Goal-oriented team player mindset;
• Proven experience working in a multinational environment;
• Ability to run multi-jurisdictional projects;
• Portfolio of contacts in Warsaw/Brussels (public institutions);
• Established relations in main business organizations in Poland;
• Industry knowledge.
