Due Diligence Design is recruiting a Senior Policy Manager to join our growing team.

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality analytical briefs for clients, tracking and monitoring regulatory developments, and managing a team of experienced analysts.

The Senior Manager will deliver high-quality, analysis briefs for clients on a range of critical due diligence topics including policy and regulation, litigation, and emerging issues impacting the landscape of responsible business conduct.

You will lead and manage a team of experienced analysts, ensuring that analysis is conducted with precision and technical clarity and products are delivered on time.

Reporting directly to the Partners, you will lead some aspects of client and stakeholder liaison particularly with government and international organisations and provide support on business development.

The role is a remote working role and can be based within the UK and the EU.

Experience and expertise

  • 8+ years of relevant experience within business, intergovernmental organisation or government;
  • Experience in producing and providing reports and analysis to board and leadership level;
  • Deep technical expertise of OECD due diligence standards and UN Guiding Principles, and working knowledge of ILO international labour standards;
  • Background in law, policy or RBC strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Monitoring and tracking developments in the field of responsible business conduct and due diligence;
  • Producing deep-dive intelligence briefs on emerging issues and risks, policies, geo-political shifts;
  • Maintaining legislation and litigation databases;
  • Providing trend analysis and implications;
  • Delivering weekly, tailored alerts to clients on developments;
  • Engaging and communicating with clients on proposals, deliverables and analysis;
  • Managing a team of experienced analysts to deliver the above on time, within budget and to an exceptional standard of quality;
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with stakeholders;
  • Representing Due Diligence Design at key external forums and events.

Key competencies

  • Fluent in English and extremely strong communication skills;
  • Highly analytical and quick to spot trends and emerging themes and implications;
  • Technical rigor and precision in all work;
  • Ability to manage multiple project deadlines simultaneously;
  • Ability to manage a team including delegating and clearly communicating tasks, providing on-going constructive feedback, and problem-solving issues that may arise in product delivery;
  • Ability to work remotely and travel as required.
