Established as a consultative body in the founding Treaties, the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) strengthens the European Union’s democratic legitimacy and effectiveness by harnessing the expertise of its members. Our 329 stakeholders represent employers, workers and civil society from across the continent to evaluate legislative proposals, policies and issues affecting the people of Europe. With around 700 staff and a budget of some €160 million, we issue between 160 and 190 reports and opinions a year and are a substantial and influential organisation with a vital role to play.
The closing date for registration is 22/06/2023 at noon (Brussels time).
