We are recruiting Junior Consultants who are at the beginning of their career and have some knowledge of Brussels gained from the EU institutions, a consultancy or in-house. At this level, we are looking for talented individuals who are eager to learn the skills required to become first class consultants.

To begin, you will be assisting our consultants with

• Monitoring and intelligence gathering on priority issues;
• Client outreaches and briefings;
• Attending conferences and events;
• Conducting research and reporting findings in a clear and concise manner;
• Preparing reports, newsletters and analysis on financial services issues;
• Organizing various events;
• Client meetings and conference calls.

Afore Consulting is a specialized European public affairs consultancy providing services to the financial services industry and innovative tech companies.

What we offer

We offer an intellectually challenging and dynamic environment as part of our team of consultants. The contract will be a full time contract for six months under Belgian law, including lunch vouchers and medical insurance. It is an opportunity to learn about how we work as a consultancy as well as acquiring the skill set needed for a career in European public affairs. Should we find the experience mutually beneficial, we would be happy to extend the engagement.

Candidate Profile

You will have a Master’s degree in a relevant field such as politics, law, international relations, or European Studies and now want to develop the practical side of being a consultant. You need to have native level English and have a genuine enthusiasm for public affairs.
