The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) is currently undergoing a significant phase of growth as we prepare to take on our new expanded post-EU exit role, strengthening our position as a champion of consumers and a spur to productivity.
As Director of Policy and International, you’ll have a highly influential role leading and managing our policy and international work. You’ll shape some of the most complex consumer, markets and competition policy, arising from, in particular:
As a member of the CMA’s Senior Leadership Team, and working with the Senior Director, Policy and International, you’ll have a pivotal role offering strategic thought leadership on key areas of competition, consumer policy and international issues. This will include:
In addition to your competition and consumer policy expertise, you will have the credibility and communications skills to influence senior decision makers within the CMA, as well as at a national and international level. You’ll be adept in managing the delivery of a portfolio of complex projects and possess the leadership skills to motivate, inspire and empower the Policy and International team.
