You advise and assist clients concerning EU trade agreements, trade defense instruments and trade legislation;
You monitor and analyze relevant developments in these fields;
You develop and maintain a network of contacts at the European Commission, European Parliament and Permanent Representations of EU Member States;
You are responsible for handling a varied portfolio of assignments and developing your relationships with existing clients;
You help attract new clients in the field of EU trade policy and beyond.
You have a university degree, ideally in law or European Studies;
You have a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in EU trade policy, preferably including a stay at the EU institutions. Competences in other fields (competition and State aids, regulation) are a plus;
You have an excellent network in the EU institutions;
You can communicate seamlessly in English and French. A command of German is a big plus, other languages are welcome;
You possess excellent communication skills;
You are a genuine team player.
