Transport & Environment (T&E) is Europe's leading clean transport campaign group. We combine the power of robust evidence and a deep understanding of the transport sector with compelling communications and impactful advocacy. Created in 1990, we have shaped some of Europe’s most important environmental laws regulating the emissions of cars, trucks, ships and planes, and we play a major role in shaping transport policy throughout the continent. Our people work across Europe: our staff in Brussels, Rome, Berlin, Madrid and London collaborate with our 60 member and supporter groups to achieve our mission.
We are currently seeking a highly motivated individual to join our clean vehicles team, focused on accelerating the transition towards zero emission mobility in Europe. The position requires a person with good knowledge and experience of EU policy-making, strong advocacy, writing and speaking skills and the ability to think strategically and communicate effectively.
We offer the chance to help shape policies with huge implications for the future of the automotive industry and the environment – in Europe and across the globe. We offer a competitive salary with a substantial package of benefits and a very high level of flexibility.
This is foreseen to be a full-time position based in Brussels. However, flexible working can be discussed, including working (partially) remotely.
Candidates should provide a CV and cover letter of no more than two pages that should explain your motivation to work at Transport & Environment and highlight examples from your previous work and experience to demonstrate how you meet the job specifications. The cover letter should be written in the application form, downloadable below.
Applications should be sent by email to email@example.com before 5pm on 26 June, 2019. Please ensure the job vacancy title is shown in the subject line, and title the documents as follows: NAME_CV and NAME_Application_Form.
We thank all candidates for their interest; however, we are only able to contact those who have been shortlisted. Only applicants with an existing right to work within the EU will be considered.
