POSITION

• The Communications Manager will take a leading role in driving the association’s Press & Social Media activity.

PROFILE

• Native English speaker with strong English writing abilities;
• Master’s degree and minimum 2 years work experience in Communications, Press Relations or Journalism;
• Excellent writing skills, ability to write copy that is instantly engaging and creative;
• Ability to translate complex political and technical issues into clear and concise messages;
• Digital native, knowledge of online content strategy and creation;
• Skilled at planning, organizing, prioritizing and executing simultaneous, deadline-sensitive projects and activities. Proven ability to work well under pressure and adapt quickly to change.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Press and media outreach and engagement;
• Drafting clear and compelling press releases, articles, web copy, speeches, and social media news items with the support of the different units;
• Copywriting, editing, and proofreading of publications produced by the association;
• Developing and coordinating publications;
• Hosting and interviewing podcast guests;
• Managing websites and social media channels.
