Job Description

  • Be part of our exciting journey at PACCOR’s Headquarter to support our Legal Affairs department in contract matters;
  • Review and/or draft contract terms and conditions under various laws (mainly German, French, UK and US) for a wide scope of contracts (confidentiality agreements, letter of intents, development agreements, sales agreements, purchase agreement, memoranda of understanding….);
  • Proofread, edit, and fact-check contracts and ancillary documents for accuracy and consistency;
  • Assist Paccor teams to fulfill the terms of or to terminate contracts on mutually amicable terms, or in evaluating litigation risks;
  • Review contract terms and conditions to verify that they are in compliance with company procedures, policies and applicable regulations;
  • Collaborate with, train and support the Procurement & Sales departments to negotiate the contract terms, both internally and in direct with the counter-party;
  • Manage the Contract Database, promote its use, train users, propose evolution;
  • Develop template agreements and support tools for the Group’s use;
  • Update and communicate the Group’s Contract Management policy and procedures;
  • Identify opportunities to improve level of service;
  • Perform additional functions as directed for the benefit of the group.

Qualifications

  • Law degree preferred, Business degree with strong legal experience accepted;
  • With a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar position within an international industrial environment;
  • Strong IT skills including Microsoft packages;
  • Fluent in English and German, both orally and in writing;
  • Ability to work in autonomy;
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including ability to use plain language to explain legal concepts;
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail;
  • Strong negotiation skills, both in-person and in written form;
  • Ability to build strong professional working relationships, taking into account cultural differences;
  • Demonstrate a high degree of business judgement in assessing risks and opportunities and protecting the Paccor Group’s interests;
  • Desire to learn, professionally challenge norms, and drive better practices and processes.
